🚨 The Challenge
After a strong hail and wind storm swept through Miami County, the Hathaways noticed something wasn’t right with their roof. Shingles were missing. Granules covered their driveway. Water spots were forming inside.

Our Approach
From the start, our team focused on two things: making the process simple and getting the insurance company to pay what the damage was really worth.
We performed a full storm damage inspection, documented the issues with photos, and helped the Hathaways file their claim properly. Once approved, we got to work.

Full Tear-Off
We removed all damaged shingles, underlayment, and compromised flashing. Any questionable decking was replaced to ensure a solid foundation.

Underlayment Instalation
Our team laid down Grip-Rite synthetic underlayment, a moisture-blocking barrier that outperforms old-school felt. It’s designed to keep the home dry long after installation.

Shingle Replacement
Once the weather cleared, we removed the tarp and began repairs.
This included:
- Stripping back the surrounding damaged shingles
- Inspecting the underlayment and replacing any saturated sheathing

Custom Chimney Flashing

We updated the ridge vent for better airflow and installed matching hip and ridge caps for a clean, professional finish. Our crew wrapped up with a thorough property clean-up.

• Roofing Nails – 1¼” galvanized coil roofing nails for nail guns

• Magnetic Nail Sweeper – for yard and driveway cleanup
• Trash Bags / Bins – for plastic and underlayment waste
• Tarping – used during tear-off to protect flower beds, porch furniture, and walkways
